SOLD Thanks! One of my favorite Facebook pages is Xtabay Vintage Clothing. So this is my dolly version of a dress they had for sale recently. The original dress was orange-not my favorite color-so mine is a coral instead. The fabric is silk charmeuse and the matching lining is silk habotai. I made the overskirt as a separate piece that slips over the dress and closes in the back with a snap. In fact, I made the overskirt twice. My first one was too long and too full in the back and it bugged me. So it got scrapped but I didn't have to remake all the bows at least. A little tip: since I needed three bows of the same size, I cut a small piece of cardboard 3/4" wide, made a line down the center, and used that to wrap my tubing around. I stitched the ends together and then sewed the "knot" around it. The dress is raglan style and the sleeves have tiny tucks at the bodice edge like the original.
